Yet again another devastating DJ night, especially so, since I got up about 6:30 in the morning and when I was supposed to take a nap, it turned out my grandmother was celebrating her 94th birthday. So obviously I needed to drink the coffee, eat the cake and talk with her.
About 30 minutes before I was fixing to go to the spot, I got a call about me possibly forgetting that I had to play that night. Well, the person calling had forgot to let me know it was a band night and that they'd be opening an hour sooner. The bands playing were not advertised anywhere, not even on the clubs own site, which is why I never knew about it.

Rest of the night was okay, ex-girlfriends popped up to say hi and talk me up a bit. I filled up on energy drinks and later in the night a couple of beers so I would get atleast some sleep the next night.
The bands were okay, especially United Underworld did a decent show and had a pretty good turnout, which would have been probably double if the advertizing would've been decent.
Suprisingly, only one drunken asshole, but since he was a jolly chap, I didn't mind his rambling too much. I did get a bit of an unnerving situation going on, when a totally drunk guy, filled with prison tats and 4 similar friend in his table came demanding that I play something. Later he apologized and asked for something else, saying he has "just gotten out today".
