This is where i tell you about me and mostly lie about it. In other words, everything might not be the absolute truth here.

I was born long ago, in a land far far...well, up north actually. In Finland, Helsinki to be precise. I still live here, but now in Kallio region, instead of my childhood suburb of Martinlaakso (yes, Mika's Salo & Häkkinen are from there too)....this feels pretty weird, nobody should be interested in this, but i want to spill this all out anyway, so suffer you surfer...

Teenage time was mostly boring, you've all been there, you know what it is, mostly dull and fighting the 'authorities'. What was special for me during that time, was being in a death metal band called Abhorrence as a singer, well, growler is more like it really. But that was great time, we played gigs, drank a lot of beer with cool people and sometimes we even got paid. Coolest trip with the band was when we got invited to play a gig (or gigs, can't remember) in Norway, thanks to the guys of Cadaver. Sleep over at the Mayhem rehearsal house, which was pretty wicked, but that's about it.

I quit school as soon as i could, which means after comprehensive school, with less than moderate report and soon started working. I was lucky enough to get into apprenticeship to be an Off-Set Printer. Now, 10 years, 3 companies later, I'm currently unemployed and trying to get into IT-trade. Just recently i got into school (after about 11 years of hating it, i did my damnest to get back in), i went into school so i would have some sort of paper to back up my claims of knowing something about PCs and maybe have chance of getting some work.

I do all kinds of stuff now, I'm an 'audiophile', which basically means i spend way too much money on records and music in general. At the moment i prefer Stonerrock, classic Doom and 70's hard rock/heavy. That's not all of it, but those are the genres I'm interested at the moment. My records collection is getting pretty big, around 1000+ titles in it with 2 meters worth of vinyl to be added to the database (in PDF format), it has everything from Grind Core to lo-fi keyboards stuff and classical. On "hobby" front i do interviews and reviews for Imperiumi.Net Metal e'zine, HellrideMusic.Com and MarkSound.Com and i wrote to SFPerkele Metal magazine (R.I.P.) when it was around. Other things i waste my time with are: Hanging in IRC way too much (#Stonerrock (@Undernet & IRCnet) where I'm OP, #Doom-Metal (@Undernet), #Imperiumi (@IRCNet) and #SFP (@IRCNet) and i run several mailing lists, to mention few of the largest, Imperiumi.Net Mailing List and Stonerrock Mailing List. I used to have a monthly club at Corner Pub called Stoner Hands Of Doom Club, where i played music for the masses. Masses were not that big tho.

Recently i got engaged to Kata(riina Huumonen), which was a pretty big step for me, and we're getting married soon. That's about it, not much more i want to share really and i personally think even this was way too much. Tho i could tell you something about my personality...nah, that boring.
